Last week, Duran Duran and Nile Rodgers released their joint single, “Free To Love.” The longtime friends and collaborators brought the song to life on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Rodgers, a co-founding member of disco stalwarts Chic, began working with Duran Duran in the 1980s. He continued remixing and producing the group through their most recent album, 2023’s Danse Macabre.
“‘Free To Love’ has a simple message,” Duran Duran keyboardist Nick Rhodes said. “There is nothing more important than freedom and love. We certainly need a lot more of both in the world right now.”
Duran Duran will follow their Kimmel appearance by headlining the BeachLife Festival in Redondo Beach, California, and a four-show residency in Las Vegas.
