Remi Wolf was, by the sound of things, having a rough time of it. Before she recorded her new album Mud—out October 9 via Island—the California singer-producer says, “ I literally felt like I was covered in shit. And now, at the end of the album process, I feel so clean and clear.” You can find the tracklist for Mud and its artwork below.
Wolf returned last month with “Twiggy,” her first single in the two years since her last album, Big Ideas. She had debuted the track the previous weekend during a surprise appearance at Hayley Williams’ Newport Folk Festival set. “I wrote ‘Twiggy’ about people I’ve been with that lack both butts and emotional availability,” she said of the single.
