How did you first become a fan of Prince?
Every fan remembers the moment it all began — the instant that spark turned into a real connection and your fandom took hold. We’d love to hear your story.
What first pulled you in?
A Specific Song Or Album – Something you heard once and couldn’t stop replaying?
A Live Show – A concert, festival set, or surprise appearance that blew your mind.
A Performance Clip – A street performance, TV appearance, YouTube/Instagram/TikTok clip, or bootleg video that made you look them up.
A Friend Or Family Connection – A parent’s record collection, a sibling’s playlist, a friend’s burned CD, a partner’s favorite band.
When you share your story, feel free to include:
Where You Were – City, venue, living room, car, headphones on the bus…
Who You Were With – Friends, family, a crowd of strangers, or completely on your own.
What You Remember Most – A specific song, a solo, a lyric, a visual moment, or just the feeling you had.
These are exactly the kinds of fan memories we want to celebrate and preserve here in the Hall of Fans, so don’t hold back. If you’ve got photos, ticket stubs, or playlists connected to your story, feel free to mention those too and add them to your Museum Wing.

FEATURED FAN MOMENT: GREG MARTENS’ JOURNEY TO MEET THE MOLOTOVS IN PARIS
Every once in a while, a fan story comes along that perfectly captures the kind of grassroots energy that The Molotovs live for. This one comes from longtime music lover, and Hall of Fans Founder, Greg Martens, @Tens , who discovered the band online and ended up flying to meet the band in person.
Below is Greg’s full story — recorded using the Record Your Story tool inside his Hall of Fans Museum Wing — along with photos from his hangouts with the band and a video clip that first caught his attention.
AUDIO TRANSCRIPT (as recorded by Greg):
“Hey everybody, this is my story about meeting the band, The Molotovs from the United Kingdom.
One day, a video came across my Facebook, and they were playing in the street in London, doing Day Tripper. It’s a three piece. And I was like, man, these guys are really good. They’re playing the street. They’re after my own heart. I love the gorilla marketing.
About a week later, another video came across Facebook, and they were playing again in the street on the back of a flatbed truck outside of a brewery. And I was like, these guys are good. You know? They play in…

Gov’t Mule emerged in 1994 as a gritty, no-nonsense trio built around the creative chemistry of guitarist/vocalist Warren Haynes and bassist Allen Woody, both fresh off their run with The Allman Brothers Band. From the beginning, the Mule carved out its own lane: long, heavy improvisations, blues-drenched songwriting, and the kind of live shows where anything could happen. Their early albums, Dose and Life Before Insanity, set the tone for a band that treated every performance like a blank canvas.
Everything shifted in 2000 with the sudden passing of Allen Woody, a moment that could have ended the band outright. Instead, Gov’t Mule transformed. The Woody tribute project—featuring an all-star lineup of bass legends—helped them regroup, evolve, and move forward with a new lineup. Over the years, the Mule has expanded its sound without losing its core identity, weaving in soul, funk, Americana, and even psychedelic textures while staying rooted in the raw power that defined them from day one.
Today, Gov’t Mule remains one of the most respected and enduring improvisational rock bands touring, still led by Haynes and still driven by the same spirit: heavy grooves,…

The Molotovs are a fast-rising young British rock trio formed in London in 2020, built around siblings Matt (vocals/guitar) and Issey (bass), with Noah on drums. From the beginning, their identity has been anchored in high-energy, stripped-down guitar rock influenced by The Clash, The Libertines, Arctic Monkeys, Ramones, and late-70s punk and new wave.
Early Years & Rise (2020–2021)
Formed during the tail end of the lockdown era, The Molotovs started out by playing small outdoor “guerrilla” performances, street sets, and DIY shows across London. These early appearances earned them attention on social media for being teenagers playing like seasoned touring musicians, and their rapid technical improvement became part of the band’s story.
Breakthrough Momentum (2021–2023)
As shows returned, The Molotovs quickly graduated from busking and pop-ups to supporting slots and club gigs at well-known London venues like the 100 Club, Dublin Castle, and Hope & Anchor. They also began attracting the attention of established musicians—members of Glen Matlock’s band, The Libertines, and artists on the London indie circuit started sharing their clips and praising their energy.
By 2022–2023,…
