Kim Deal has lined up a live album documenting the 2025 orchestral London show behind her solo debut, Nobody Loves You More. A Cuán Roche-directed film of the Barbican performance will accompany the LP. Of her journey to the beloved venue, Deal said in a press release, “I invited myself! That’s how I came to play Nobody Loves You More at the Barbican. Years ago, I had worked with Chris Sharp at the 4AD label and I knew he was currently at The Barbican. So, I reached out to dear Chris and said I have orchestration on this record. I would love to be able to perform these songs with an actual orchestra. And Chris said yes, we’d love to have you.”
Deal played the show—her first-ever orchestral performance—with a band comprising the Shards choir, Breeder Mando Lopez, Susan Voelz, Lindsay Glover, Nick White, Rob Bochnik, and Teenage Fanclub’s Raymond McGinley.
