Dark Star Orchestra will ring in the New Year at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York. The Grateful Dead tribute act are primed for their “Cosmic New Year’s Run” at The Cap December 31 through January 2.
This year’s NYE run marks Dark Star Orchestra’s fifth time this decade celebrating the New Year at the venue where the Grateful Dead held historic concerts. DSO delivered the NYE festivities at The Cap last year as well as in 2024, 2023 and 2022.
Dark Star Orchestra are set to kick off an early fall run in September. The band will also deliver a late fall stint leading up to their New Year’s run at The Capitol Theatre.
Presales for Dark Star Orchestra’s “Cosmic New Year’s Run” 2026-2027 are underway. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 21 at 10 a.m. ET.
