Welcome from Founder in Chief Greg Martens

Greetings and Welcome to The Hall Of Fans ( AM/FM ) Archive Museum Fans Music

“So I’m looking at all these memories—short for memorabilia—I have amassed over my life in and around music. I figured between The Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers and Blues Traveler bands I worked for, I have seen these 3 bands over 1100 times. (If there was a pass, laminate or set list, chances are I have it… THAT IS SEEING THESE 3 EVERY NIGHT FOR 3 YEARS IN A ROW WITHOUT A NIGHT OFF.)

What’s going to happen to all my stuff when I die? I have no family, no kids, etc… so one day it hit me… start the Hall Of Fans and create a final resting place… The Smithsonian Institution of Fans Memorabilia! My idea is Brick and Mortar Museums around the world where in a 100 years from now people will see, for example, my gold record from Blues Traveler then listen to the band and buy their music. I have pitched the idea to a friend whom can make this happen in and around his venues around the world… he likes the idea so like Bugsy I’m going to build it and they will come. I already have friends sending me items that will be in an atmospherically controlled storage facility in their names… all items handled with kid gloves like The Baseball Hall Of Fame for example.

So our next step is to find an incubator for business and have my Tech guy Josh looking for the one with hip young music lovers. Proof of concept, then Hall Of Fans / Sports. Register for your museum member number and answer the 2 questions I am asking EVERYONE… like a mug club… you guys will all be numbers under 100… low numbers are cool of course.. HA.

Buy a Hall Of Fans t-shirt.. have fun and LETS GO.”

Our Mission

HOF Mission

Our mission at HOF is to provide a Fan Group focused Social Media Platform and Online Museum with next generation features to share, archive, monetize and celebrate their passion, creativity, and live music adventures with their communities.

Fan Created Museum Wings

Their own customizable Museum Wing to easily upload their photos, movies, spoken and written stories into searchable and dynamically connected Collections of their tickets stubs, t-shirts, posters, memorabilia and fan created artwork to name a few. These Museum wings will be dynamically connected to all relevant groups, posts and discussions to suggest members to view Wings to promote and encourage interaction other members contributions.

Licensing band logos, likeness and other intellectual property

We pre-negotiate broad license fees with bands and musicians so that our members can use their copyrights, band logos, etc. for what used to be “BOOTLEG” products.

Now FANS can legally sell their bootleg T-shirts, concert posters,  etc on the HOF website and bands get royalties on everything instead of paying copyright lawyers to track down and stomp out bootleg sales.  The result is a renascence of unique fan-inspired artwork that adds to lore of all band involved.

Bands can sell their “official merch” on their band page along with any other contests, tickets, promotions, etc.
