With the release of their debut album Planet Android, Shapes are quickly becoming one of the hottest new bands on the scene.
Based out of Toronto, Canada, these four lifelong friends have crafted together a truly unique sound that has already earned them a loyal following throughout the North East.
Lead by Bryan Silverberg (guitar) and Dave Hollingshead (keyboards), Shapes was born out of their mutual love for abstract ideas mixed with a deranged sense of humour. Having grown up listening to everything from Frank Zappa to Shania Twain their wide array of musical influences combine to create something that is both chaotic and refined at the same time.
Their live shows have been described as a wild musical adventure, full of twists and turns that both the band and audience experience together.
Having recently performed some of their biggest shows to date, including a stop at the Westcott Theatre in Syracuse, New York, alongside Spafford, Shapes is well on their way to becoming the next up and coming band to watch.
