First Concert Attended:

Journey at the Brendan Byrne Arena (the Meadowlands, NJ) in 1983. I went with my best friend in highschool, Michelle Meehan (now Geary). My mom gave us a ride to the show and back. I remember being at the highest row we could possibly be in, and smoking was not banned at that time, so all of the smoke wafted up to us at the top of the stadium. My girlfriend and I didn't smoke, so it was an experience. I remember Bryan Adams opening up for them!

Favorite Concert Memory:

At my first (and only) Phish festival . . . finding a spot on the lawn (I was on my own), and dancing for the entire show to music that I was just new to learning about. I had the best time just dancing like no one was watching, and after the music ended, some stranger came up to me and thanked me for dancing and told me that they enjoyed watching me having so much fun. Now, whenever I am dancing like a fool (which is pretty much always), I think, well, maybe it is inspiring someone else to have a good time, too! Miss you always, Mondegreen.
