The Marcus King Band announced the Darling Blue Pt. 2 Tour. The trek around the group led by guitarist Marcus King’s first studio album in seven years continues this summer with support from Penelope Road on most dates.
King also has a residency at the Blue Note in New York City on the books, which kicks off this Friday (March 13) before The Marcus King Band heads to New Zealand and Australia in April. MKB will also hit several festivals this year including Stagecoach Music Festival, Bourbon & Beyond, Gulf Coast Jam and more.
The Darling Blue Pt. 2 Tour begins on May 16 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta ahead of a hometown concert at the Ryman in Nashville on May 27 where Willow Avalon will join the bill.
The trek will see additional stops in Florida, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, Virginia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Ontario, Illinois, Ohio, Missouri, Michigan, Wisconsin, California, Oregon, Wyoming, Idaho, Washington, British Columbia, Montana, Utah, Colorado, Alabama and North Carolina. The headline dates wrap September 15 at Flynn Center in Burlington, Vermont.
A presale starts Wednesday, March 11 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by the general on-sale on Friday, March 13 at 10 a.m. local time.
