A$AP Rocky doubles his career top 10 total on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart thanks to the combo of “Helicopter” and “Stay Here 4 Life,” the latter featuring Brent Faiyaz. Both tracks are from the rapper’s new album, Don’t Be Dumb, which soars in at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart as well as the all-genre Billboard 200 list dated Jan. 31.
“Stay Here 4 Life” opens at No. 7 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, while “Helicopter” flies 29-8 in its second week on the chart. The pair, A$AP Rocky’s third and fourth top 10 appearances, wrap an eight-year absence from the region. The rapper first visited the top 10 with the No. 2 hit “F**kin Problems,” featuring Drake, 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar, in February 2013 and returned when he and Cardi B featured on G-Eazy’s “No Limit,” which peaked in the runner-up spot in January 2018.
Notably, for featured artist Brent Faiyaz, “Stay Here 4 Life” is his second Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs top 10. “All Mine” debuted and peaked at No. 10 in July 2022.
The new top 10s front a collection of 11 tracks from A$AP Rocky’s Don’t De Dumb on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Thanks to the haul, the rapper reaches exactly 50 career chart entries. His journey to the milestone began on the chart dated Jan. 28, 2012, when “Peso” debuted at No. 98.
