A TikTok creator known as MotelCowgirl compiled a detailed list of upcoming Red Dirt concerts across Oklahoma, highlighting dozens of shows from dive bars to dance halls through the summer.
Sometimes the best concert calendars don’t come from professional promoters.
They come from fans who simply love the music and want to keep track of where the scene is happening next.
A TikTok creator known as Kynny (@motelcowgirl) recently shared a video featuring a carefully curated list of upcoming Red Dirt concerts across Oklahoma. The list highlights dozens of shows ranging from intimate dive bar gigs to casino stages and outdoor festivals. Kynny is part of a larger collective called the Western Grunge TapeDeck that produces a red-dirt enthusiast podcast about once a week and curates some of the best playlists a girl could ask for around here. I’m sure we’ll be sharing a whole lot more about them in the coming weeks as the live music scene really ramps up here in Oklahoma.

Some of the shows are big-ticket performances at venues like Cain’s Ballroom and Riverwind Casino. Others are the kind of late-night bar gigs and small-room sets that define the grassroots side of Red Dirt. For fans who follow the Red Dirt scene closely, this IS you roadmap for the next few months of live music. Be sure to list any shows she might have missed in the comments below.

Lists like this remind people how much live music is really born & bred in Oklahoma on any given weekend. If you’re willing to drive a little, you could realistically catch two or three shows in a single weekend without even leaving the state. The only problem is deciding which ones, and that’s a pretty great problem to have.
