Alison Krauss, Billy Strings, Del McCoury, Emmylou Harris and Molly Tuttle lead a mindblowing assemblage of talent set to honor the 25th anniversary of the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack at the Grand Ole Opry. The all-star concert will take place at the iconic Nashville venue on Saturday, February 28.
T-Bone Burnett produced the massively successful soundtrack to the Coen Brothers’ 2000 film, O Brother, Where Art Thou?. The 19-track collection introduced bluegrass to a new generation of music fans. Several of the artists who contributed to the soundtrack will perform at the Grand Ole Opry’s celebration, including Krauss, Harris, Dan Tyminski, Chris Thomas King, The Whites, Tim Blake Nelson and The Fairfield Four.
, Colin Linden, Fisk Jubilee Singers, Jerry Douglas, Old Crow Medicine Show and Sarah Jarosz round out the lineup for the celebratory concert. Tim Blake Nelson and Chris Thomas King starred in O Brother, Where Art Thou?.
Billy Strings devoted his Halloween concert in 2024 to an impressive “O Billy, Where Art Thou?” production based on the film. Tim Blake Nelson, Chris Thomas King and T-Bone Burnett each participated in the show held at Baltimore’s CFG Bank Arena.
A special vinyl gatefold edition of the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack arrives on February 20 via Lost Highway Records.
