Deep Sea Diver held a hometown concert at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre on Friday that was the band’s biggest headlining show to date. Madison Cunningham and Dean Johnson were among the special guests joining the group for the milestone performance.
Deep Sea Diver guitarist/lead singer Jessica Dobson, bassist Garrett Gue, drummer Peter Mansen, guitarist/keyboardist Elliot Jackson and touring guitarist/keyboardist Kristyn Chapman were accompanied by a three-piece horn section at various points of the night.
Singer-songwriter Dean Johnson was tasked with helping sing the 2020 single, “Stop Pretending.” The song was performed by Dobson on electric guitar and Dean on vocals.
Singer-songwriter Madison Cunningham was next to take the Paramount stage. Cunningham played electric guitar and sang alongside Dobson, Gue, Manson and Jackson, as well as the horn section on “Be Sweet” from Deep Sea Diver’s 2025 album, Billboard Heart.
Cunningham remained for the subsequent “Let Me Go,” the Billboard Heart track she co-wrote and is featured on its album version.
