Daft Punk’s pyramid stage from their Alive 2007 Tour will become an official LEGO set. The company approved a fan-designed concept for development as part of a newly announced partnership with the French electronic duo.

The collaboration was introduced with an announcement video set to “Voyager” and “Human After All” featuring Daft Punk’s robot personas as LEGO minifigures. A price and release date for the set have not been announced, with LEGO promising more information in 2027.

Luxembourg-based Patrick Harboun and his son created the original model during lockdown and submitted it through LEGO Ideas. The design won the platform’s Music To Our Ears challenge in 2020 and later attracted 10,000 supporters.

“This all started as a creative escape during lockdown between my son and I because of our shared love of Daft Punk and LEGO building,” Harboun stated. “We never dared imagine it would take off in this way. Watching our passion project become part of an official collaboration is an incredible experience, and it’s a reminder of what makes the LEGO Ideas community so special. That a simple idea, shared by fans, really can become something much bigger.”

Daft Punk Creative Director Cédric Hervet also weighed in on the project:

“The pyramid stage is one of the most recognisable expressions of Daft Punk’s visual world, so it feels fitting that this fan-created design will be centre stage of this partnership. Fans have always played an important part in Daft Punk’s story, and we are excited to see that creativity reflected through the LEGO universe.”
